15,000-sq-ft arcade opening in Orlando this week

One of the largest arcades in the state of Florida will open its doors on International Drive in Orlando this week.

Arcade Monsters will host its grand opening at 6362 International Drive on Friday, November 17, from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.

The business says that the first 50 people in line will receive free merchandise, and anyone dressed in Cosplay will receive 50% off admission.

In addition to discounts for Cosplay participators, the business says it will also extend discounts to industry workers and first responders every day.

As its name suggests, Arcade Monsters’ locations are known for their large selection of arcade games, pinball machines, and video game consoles, among other gaming options.

The business offers wristbands for unlimited play of various arcade machines and video games.

In addition to games, Arcade Monsters features a bar and restaurant that is open to all ages.

Earlier this year, the company told Orlando-News.com that its I-Drive location will be “one of, if not the largest, arcade bars in the United States.”

After its grand opening on Friday, the business says it will open at 11 a.m. on Saturday and will stay open every day thereafter from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.

The new arcade joins four other locations in Oviedo, Lake Mary, Melbourne, and Sarasota.
