Police are investigating a shooting in downtown Orlando early Sunday morning that left one individual dead.
Orlando Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting on the first level of the parking garage located at 2 S. Orange Avenue at around 2:13 a.m. on Sunday, January 7.
Upon arrival, officers located one victim who was suffering from a gunshot wound. That individual was transported to a local area hospital, where they were pronounced deceased.
Homicide detectives who are currently investigating the case say the incident is isolated and there is no current threat to the area.
