Man shot and killed during dispute in Orlando

Orlando police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a dispute between two men that led to a fatal shooting.

Orlando Police Officers responded to reports of a shooting at Thomas Street and Drew Street at 12:13 p.m. on Monday, January 8.

According to police, two adult males were having an argument that escalated until one of the men shot the other with a gun.

The man who was shot was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police have not provided any information regarding his identity.

The second man remained at the scene and cooperated with police.

OPD says that homicide detectives are still actively investigating the shooting.
