Dog dies in fire at home with ‘heavy hoarder’ conditions

A dog was killed in a fire that tore through a home in east Orlando that displayed “heavy hoarder like conditions.”

Orange County Fire Rescue crews responded to a mobile home fire in the 14000 block of Pine Valley Road on Monday, February 5.

Upon arrival, firefighters observed smoke billowing from the home and the fire was confirmed to be out.

Crews began searching for three pets (two dogs and a cat) who were in the house during the time of the blaze.

According to OCFR, one of the dogs was found deceased.

Emergency crews reported that the home exhibited “heavy hoarder like conditions.”

No other injuries were reported.
