A 46-year-old suspect was located and arrested two days after he allegedly robbed a bank in Osceola County.
On Monday, March 11, Osceola County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the SouthState Bank located at 850 Cypress Parkway in Poinciana in reference to a bank robbery that had just occurred.
Upon arrival, the deputies made contact with the female victim/bank teller who advised that she was assisting different customers when a Black man approached the counter. According to the victim, the man immediately pulled out a note and demanded money.
The victim told investigators that she gave the male suspect an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency. After grabbing the money, the suspect ran out of the bank.
The sheriff’s office stated that on Tuesday, March 12, investigative resources were used to identify the suspect as 46-year-old Kenyada Emanuel Jacobs.
The following day, the OCSO West Criminal Investigation Division conducted surveillance of Jacobs, and he was safely apprehended and transported to Osceola County Jail.
In a video posted on social media, Osceola County Sheriff Marcos Lopez stated that Jacobs has confessed to the bank robbery.
Jacobs is currently being held at Osceola County Jail on $8,500 bond. He is facing the following charges: two counts of robbery (no firearm or weapon) and grand theft over $750 but less than $5,000.
