Deputies ID 35-year-old victim in fatal shooting on East Colonial Drive

A 35-year-old man has been identified as the victim of a fatal shooting that took place last month on East Colonial Drive in Orlando.

On Monday, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office identified Odalis Rafael Perdomo as the victim of a shooting that occurred on Saturday, March 23, near the 14200 block of E Colonial Drive.

At around 10:40 p.m., OCSO deputies responded to the incident location in reference to shots being fired in the area. When the deputies arrived on scene, they located Perdomo, and he was suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.

In a media release on Monday, April 1, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office stated that its detectives have no additional information to release at this time.

“This is still an active and ongoing investigation,” added the sheriff’s office.
