Deborah E. Wiggins, 67, of Orlando, departed this life on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. Debbie, a lifelong resident of Orlando, was born on September 13, 1956 to the late Arlena and Cornelious Miller, Sr. At the time of her demise, she worked as a Classification officer with the Orange County Department of Corrections.
Debbie dedicated her life to service in her church, family and community. She was an active member of Advancing the Kingdom Ministries Orlando for several years. During her time there, she served in various capacities of the church. She enjoyed listening to gospel music and watching her favorite NBA team, the Golden State Warriors. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all her children and grandchildren to follow. Debbie was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Willie C. Wiggins Sr.; sons, Don C. Wiggins, Leonard Wiggins, Willie C. Wiggins, Jr.; brother, Cornelious Miller Jr.; sisters, Rose (Clarence) Oliver, Cozetta Coleman, Millicent (Bishop Anthony) Pelt; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the church.
A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1968 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando with Bishop Anthony Pelt, the State Overseer of the Cocoa Office, Church of God, officiating.
