Mattie L. Griffin

Mattie L. Griffin, 89, of Orlando, passed away on April 16, 2024 in Kissimmee, FL surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on May 30, 1934 to Edgar and Georgia (Palmer) Lee at Blythe, GA.

Mattie was a homemaker creating a loving home for her family. There was nothing more she loved than to spend time with her husband and children. In her spare time she enjoyed music and going to church.

On February 5, 1955, she married Kenneth Griffin. Mattie and Kenneth lived on Long Island, NY before moving to Orlando to be near to their son.

Mattie is survived by her loving Spouse, Kenneth; Sons, Andy (Deborah) Griffin, Kenneth Griffin, Jr. and Keith Griffin; and Grandchildren, Latrell Griffin, Terrell Griffin, Dejuan Griffin, Zy’Air Griffin, and Nicole .

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Edgar Lee and Georgia Palmer.

Visitation will be held April 23, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Orlando, Florida.

Funeral services will follow the visitation at 5:00 p.m.
