Update: John “Jack” Francis Philibin has been located and is safe.
The Clermont Police Department is asking for the public’s help to locate a missing 81-year-old man who suffers from Alzheimer’s and dementia.
According to CPD, John “Jack” Francis Philibin was last seen at around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 21, at a memory care facility located in the 600 block of E Minnehaha Avenue in Clermont.
When Philibin was last seen, he was wearing a brown T-shirt and brown and yellow pants. He stands 5’9” tall, weighs around 200 pounds, and he has white and thinning hair.
“(Philibin) like red cars and should be walking,” stated CPD in a social media post on Sunday morning.
The police department added that Philibin has gone missing in the past and was previously located at a car dealership in Clermont.
