Acro-Cats, stars of Netflix ‘Cat People,’ performing in Orlando

A group of acrobatic felines made popular through a Netflix documentary are coming to perform in Orlando over a multi-day run.

The Amazing Acro-Cats will perform at the Orlando Repertory Theatre’s Black Box Theatre beginning Friday, January 20, 2023. The group will perform multiple shows through Monday, January 23 at the theatre, which is located at 1001 E Princeton Street in Orlando.

An extension of Rock Cats Rescue, Inc., Amazing Acro-cats was founded by Samantha Martin and was the subject of the Netflix docu-series, Cat People. As of December 2022, the group has found 320 homes for rescued animals.

After a hiatus during COVID-19, the group returned to touring recently. They will make an additional stop in Lakeland during their trip to Florida.
