The UF/IFAS Extension in Osceola County will host an upcoming class to teach residents how to safely remove the Brazilian Pepper tree, an invasive species that is dangerous to local flora.
The group will host a Brazilian Pepper Blitz on Saturday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the UF/IFAS Extension in Osceola County, which is located at 1921 Kissimmee Valley Lane.
The class will go over how to identify the species and what tools are required to remove it. In addition, a free tree will be provided to replace the tree.
