Lloyd Douglas Strickland , 65 of Orlando Fl , passed away on January 1st 2023 . Lloyd was born March 10th 1957 in Winter Park, Florida.

Lloyd Joined the United States Air Force. In boot camp he did a course , he broke two ribs and continued the course to the finish. From that day forward he was nick named the ” Beast.” He continued his service with search and rescue with downed planes and pilots .He did forward intel and would call in strikes for hot spot enemy activities .Most missions he was the helicopter gunner, surviving two helicopter crashes that he sustained injury but it never took him out .Most missions he was the helicopter gunner but, on Occasions, he would be called for Special Ops that would take him places . He never shared details of those missions .

You will be missed by family and friends .

Lloyd is survived by his brother Jack and wife Maryann their two daughters; Brittney, and her daughters Caylin and Paisley and Lindsey and her husband Christian and Dante their son Jarrod and Heather his wife their sons Coen and Ryker and his daughter Hanna. He is preceded in death by his mother, Alda and father Chester .
