Wife arrested in alleged murder of husband inside Orange County home

A wife was arrested early Tuesday morning after police responded to her Orange home and found her husband dead from a gun shot wound.

Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a home on Clarcona Ocoee Road regarding a domestic shooting at 2:49 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

Upon arrival, deputies located 44-year-old William Gil Paredes. Paredes had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim’s wife, Gladis Bran De Gil, was at the scene and, upon interviewing her, deputies detectives established probably cause for her arrest.

Bran De Gil is being charged with first degree murder and has been booked into Orange County Jail.
