Armed men rob USPS mail carrier in Altamonte Springs, police say

Law enforcement authorities are looking for three men who allegedly robbed a United States Postal Service worker last week.

Altamonte Springs Police Department officers responded to the Altamira Apartment Complex (641 Altamira Circle) on Friday, January 27 after receiving a call regarding a robbery.

Upon arrival, police spoke with the victim, a USPS mail carrier, who told them that three unknown male suspects approached him and took his property. The mail carrier said he saw one of the men carrying a weapon.

The victim was unharmed and the suspects fled the scene before law enforcement arrived.

All three suspects were described as black males, approximately 20 years of age, approximately 5’8″ tall, with slim builds. Two of the suspects were wearing gray sweaters and black masks. One suspect was armed with a firearm and wore an unknown color hoodie and a black mask.
