As the group approached the intersection of North Beach Street and West Granada Boulevard, they ignored a red light and continued fleeing at a high speed.

One of the motorcyclists, later identified as Richardson, turned around, flipped off pursuing deputies, and continued through the intersection before he was struck by a pickup truck.

After he was struck, Richardson attempted to run away from the scene before he was apprehended by deputies.

Richardson is being charged with fleeing or alluding police at high speeds, resisting an officer without violence, and leaving the scene of a crash. He was arrested on Saturday, March 4 and was released after posting bail just four hours later.
