A 36-year-old man who traveled to Orlando to have sex with what he thought was a 13-year-old girl will spend the next decade behind bars.

Demetrius Reddick was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for attempted coercion or enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity on February 24 in the Middle District Court of Florida. Reddick will also serve 15 years of supervised release and must register as a sex offender upon release. He pled guilty in September 2022.
