Michael Herron

After many years of winning against diabetes and Alzheimer’s, Michael Joseph Herron from Sanford, Florida, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 1, 2023.

Michael was born on March 25, 1947, in Muskegon, Michigan. He went to Muskegon Catholic High School, and then to Western Michigan and Ferris State University in Michigan. He enjoyed working as a realtor in three different states, spanning over 30 years. He was a really nice guy with a great sense of humor. Mike dearly loved his family, enjoyed music and played a lot of golf, pinochle, and basketball.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Martha Herron, and his sister Patricia. He is survived by his wife Linda McMillen Herron, daughter Hilary Herron of Nebraska, son Cary Herron of Utah, granddaughter Rylee Herron of Utah, and stepdaughter Julie Jarrette of Florida. He is also survived by his loving brothers and sisters: Mary, John (Joan), Terry (Mary Jo), Tom (Patti), Ruth (Bill Chenoweth), Maggie, Dennis (Cindy), Joseph (Sarah), and Martha Bliss (Rick), as well as many nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.

A private remembrance service is being scheduled by his family.
