Doris Elaine Levin

Doris Elaine Levin, 88, of Winter Garden, Florida, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 12, 2023. Doris was born in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of Alfreda and George Schnoerr. She was raised in Patapsco State Park. Doris loved her farm dogs and often spoke of her childhood there.

Doris married Frank Levin in 1962 and had two children, Steven and Susan. They settled in Severna Park, Maryland, and lived happily there, surrounded by the Berrywooder’s.

Doris instilled her love of reading in both of her children. She would often take Susan to the YMCA bookstore on Saturdays to volunteer. She loved to shop, taking Susan and her friends to a new mall opening as soon as possible. Doris was an avid sports fan, particularly of the Ravens and the Orioles. She bragged that Steven inherited his athletic skills and love of sports from her…and his hard-headedness.

Doris met Harry Pollay in Maryland and started her second life with him. She loved traveling with Harry and they chose to continue their adventure in central Florida, moving in 2017 to Winter Garden.

Doris is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Steven Levin and Tracey Brown of Bridgewater, New Jersey; her daughter and son-in-law: Susan Levin Aagesen, and Eric Aagesen of Simsbury, Connecticut; her grandchildren: Emma Levin, Ethan Levin, Bennett Aagesen, Alexandra Sager, and Samantha Sager; and her partner and companion Harry Pollay of Winter Garden, Florida.
