Orlando couple stole $20,000 in merchandise at Targets across Central Florida

An Orlando couple is being accused of thefts at over a dozen Targets across the region that amounted to tens of thousands of dollars of stolen electronics, toys, batteries, printer ink cartridges and other items.

The Orlando Police Department arrested 27-year-old Joshua Godshall and 24-year-old Sarah Sotelo on Monday, March 13, while they were attempting to leave the Super Target located at 120 W Grant Street in South Downtown Orlando (SoDo) with thousands of dollars in stolen merchandise.

Through their investigation, detectives discovered that the couple stole from three other Target stores across the area the previous day, Sunday, March 12.

After executing a search warrant on the SUV that the couple was driving, Orlando police officers recovered dozens of pieces of stolen merchandise, including Lego sets, film cartridges, printer ink, and packaging materials consistent with fulfilling orders for buyers.
