A new distillery that will bend premium whiskey is opening in Winter Park soon.
FORWARD/SLASH will open the doors on its new distillery at 650 S Capen Avenue in Winter Park on April 1, 2023.
Founded by co-owners Michael Buffa and Tim Bradstreet, the new distillery will specialize in premium blended whiskey, bourbon, vodka, bitters, and liqueurs. The company will use products from distilleries across the country for their blends.
Buffa is the owner of The Buffa Bittering Company, a boutique bitters company. He is the founder and president of the Orlando Whiskey Society.
The business will feature a covered patio, a craft cocktail bar and tasting room, and a VIP/event room for classes and private events. The products will be blended in the group’s warehouse.
