An Orlando man won an episode of Jeopardy with a final answer about Disney.
On Monday, April 10, Robbi Ramirez was crowned the winner of the popular game show, which has been on the air for nearly 60 years.
Described as a writer from Orlando, Ramirez won the episode after submitting a correct response to the following Final Jeopardy answer:
In 1966, the year of his death, he shared plans for an experimental prototype community in Florida.
Despite all three contestants submitting the right response (Walt Disney), Ramirez wagered enough to edge out his nearest opponent by $1,800.
During the interview portion, Ramirez revealed that he has had one of his poems published in an anthology themed around superheroes and villains. Ramirez says he wrote a “Dear Jane” style letter from Absorbing Man about his wife, Titania.
In total, Ramirez claimed $23,800 for his victory. He will look to add to that total on Tuesday, April 11, when he competes for a second straight win at 7 p.m. EST on WFTV.
