Man wanted for showing firearm at Chick-fil-A in Clermont

A man who allegedly showed a firearm at a local fast food restaurant is being sought by Clermont police.

The man featured in this story is wanted in reference to improper exhibition of a firearm at a Chick-fil-A in Clermont on April 7.

The man was entering the passenger side of the maroon Ford SUV seen below.

According to Florida Statues, improper exhibition of firearms is defined as any person having or carrying a weapon “in the presence of one or more persons,” and exhibiting the weapon in a “rude, careless, angry, or threatening manner.”

The offense is a misdemeanor of the first degree.
