Addition Financial donates $65,574 to Orange County Public Schools

A locally based credit union made a sizable donation to Orange County Public Schools this week.

Addition Financial, which is based out of Lake Mary, presented the Orange County School Board with a check for $65,574 during the board’s regular meeting on Tuesday, April 25.

The funds were made possible through the company’s Affinity Debit Card Program, which donates three cents to the school district every time an OCPS branded debit card is used in a transaction.

Addition Financial has more than 150,000 members and has partnered with the school board for over 80 years, according to school officials.
