Louise Truelove Kindl

Louise Kindl passed away peacefully in Longwood, Florida with her daughter, grandchildren and friends by her side every day.

Lou was born in Dunn, North Carolina to Mr. and Mrs. James Harper. Her parents and baby sister died when she was only 9 years old and was then adopted along with her sister Eloise to Lina Stewart.

She graduated from Samuel Ready, a private school for girls in Baltimore Maryland. The she met her husband, Herbert James Kindl. They were married on November 24th, 1951 and were together for 67 years until the passing of Herb on June 29, 2020.

Lou loved to play bridge, cryptaquotes, bake, made everything beautiful and worked for a period of time in a store making floral arrangements. She was an amazing homemaker, parent, grandparent and great grandparent. Lou always made time to help, listen, support and give advice – whether you wanted it our not! Lou (whether mom, gramma or friend) was loved. She will be greatly missed.

Lou is survived by her daughters Sharon Kaplan, Cindy Conely, Melanie Young and Kristina Kindl. She was predeceased by her son James Douglas Kindl in 2018. She has 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Lou was cremated on May 21st, 2022. The family invites you to leave a message of condolence on the Tribute Wall created in her loving memory.

There will be a Celebration of Life at Christner’s Restaurant on Saturday, May 28, 2022 beginning at 5:00 pm.
