Orlando International Airport opens new parking; 1,000,000 visitors expected over holiday

The Orlando International Airport has opened a new parking lot to accommodate the over 1,000,000 visitors that it expects this Memorial Day weekend.

According to airport officials, during the 7-day travel period from Thursday, May 25 through Wednesday, May 31, the airport estimates approximately 1,126,500 travelers will pass through its facilities. That number is around 16% higher than it was last year.

In anticipation of the increased demand for parking during the holiday, the airport is planning to open the West Park Place parking lot, which is located at 8202 Tradeport Drive.

The parking lot will offer a 3,100 additional parking spaces in support of all other airport garages and lots. The daily rate to park in the West Park Place Economy Lot is $10.

The airport regularly updates its parking lot capacity online, through both its website and social media channels. For more information on parking at the airport, visit the Orlando International Airport website.
