Nathan Joseph Harper

Nathan J. Harper, age 32, of Kissimmee, FL, passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 13, 2022. He was born in Akron, OH on March 4, 1990. He moved from Cuyahoga Falls, OH to Kissimmee, FL in 2011. He is survived by his parents Tammy Neace (Jones) and Mark (Sandy) Harper; son Myles Harper; siblings Daniel Harper, Meaghan Neace, Logan Neace and Zachary Harper to whom he was always the loving and protective big brother; grandparents: Lynda (Tim) Robbins, Barbara Jones, Donna Harper, MaryAnn Tamok; nieces: Emmalynn Neace and Ryleigh Neace, whom he loved liked they were his own; Aunt Christina (Michael) Ries, Uncle Dave (Regina) Harper and Uncle Mike Harper; along with many cousins, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather’s Tommy Jones and Robert Harper and Timothy Tamok.

Nathan graduated with honors from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 2008 and then attended Kent State University. He spent most of his professional life working in the restaurant industry as a cook.

In his youth, Nathan was very active in sports through the YMCA, playing baseball, basketball and flag football. He loved participating in martial arts with his dad where he earned his green belt. In high school, he played the bass guitar in a rock band with his friends. His love for sports continued as an adult. He loved his Ohio teams: Cleveland Indians, Browns, Cavaliers and The Ohio State University Football. He recently discovered trampoline dodgeball which he played on a team with his sister, Meaghan.

Nathan’s greatest love was his son, Myles. He loved him with all his heart. The day Nathan became a daddy was the greatest and happiest day of his life. He was so proud of his son. He passed along his love of all things Disney to Myles. They spent many days together at the parks.
