Marjorie Ann Chambless

Marjorie Ann Chambless, 86, of Orlando, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 24th, 2022. She was born in San Diego, California and grew up in Montgomery, Alabama with her loving parents, Commander William Henry Chambless, United States Navy, and Marguerite Reynolds Chambless and sister, Rosalie B. Chambless, Lt. Col. USAF (ret). She loved spending time with her children, Carol Spears and John McCormack, as well as her grandchildren, Charles Spears, Ruth Ann Green, Henry Spears and Grant Spears. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, PCA in Montgomery, Alabama and University Presbyterian Church, PCA in Orlando, Florida. She retired from the State of Alabama where she worked as a Systems Analyst.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Spears (Harvey) and son, John McCormack, her grandchildren, Charles Spears (Joy), Ruth Ann Green (Josh), Henry Spears (Emma), Grant Spears, her great-grandson, Judah Green, her sister, Rosalie B. Chambless, LT. Col. USAF (ret), and her cousins, Bill and Charlotte Fowler, Elizabeth Gilroy, Elaine Fowler, and Mark Fowler.

A memorial service in her honor will be held at University Presbyterian Church in Orlando, Florida on Saturday, June 4th at 11am. She will be laid to rest at a later date in Montgomery at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery.
