Obituary for M.L. Faircloth
M.L. Faircloth of Winter Garden went home to be with the Lord
on June 2, 2022. M.L. was born on March 11, 1938 in Winter Garden,
Florida. He was a graduate of Lakeview High School class of 1957. He
retired from Continental Can Company in Winter Garden after 30
years as a millwright. He then retired from Manheim Florida Auto
Auction in Ocoee after 15 years as a Maintenance Supervisor. He
coached little league in Winter Garden for over 10 years coaching the
minor league Rangers and major league Reds. He loved to sing hymns
at Church. He loved giving everyone big Bear Hugs. He loved going on
cruises.
He is predeceased by his Dad, Marion Faircloth; Mom, Lovie
Powell Faircloth; His Sisters Exie Faircloth, Gertrude Cale, Christine
Clyatt, Mary Kelly, Celety Kinzey and Zelma O’neil. He was married to
Bonnie Skipper Faircloth for 43 years until her death in 2005. He is
survived by his 3 sons; Rev. Timothy Faircloth (Leslie) of Winter
Garden, Bishop Ricky Faircloth (Kristi) of Ocoee, and Robin Faircloth of
Winter Garden. He has 1 adopted son, Jeff Stacey of Winter Garden,
2 grandsons; Devon Traxel Faircloth of Greenacres, Florida, and Austin
Faircloth of Winter Garden and 1 Granddaughter Allie Faircloth of
Winter Garden. He has numerous nephews and nieces. He loved
spending time with all of his family and friends.
The visitation will be Monday night, June 6 at Quest Church from 6pm
– 8pm. The service will be Tuesday, June 7 at Quest Church at 10am
followed by a burial at Winter Garden Cemetery. There will be a
reception immediately following the burial at Ocoee Church of God in
the fellowship hall.
