Orange County police still looking for suspects in 19-year-old’s death

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is still looking for information about the suspects wanted in connection with the shooting death of a 19-year-old in Orlando.

Raniyah A’Shanti Gandy was shot and killed on Wednesday, June 1 at the Park at Highgate Apartments located at 3024 Powers Drive in an apparent drive-by shooting.

“We urge you to call Central Florida Crimeline at 800-423-8477 with any details that could help detectives catch her killer,” reads a post from the sheriff’s office.

Any information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for up to a $5,000 reward.

A visitation for Gandy is being held for friends and family on Friday, June 17, with Gandy’s funeral service scheduled for Saturday, June 18 at 1 p.m. at the Word of God Church (1733 Mercy Drive).
