New airline at Orlando airport will offer trips to Toronto

A new airline that serves Toronto will begin serving the Orlando International Airport near the end of this month.

Canada Jetlines announced earlier this summer that it would expand its winter schedule with additional offerings in “sun destinations,” including the city of Orlando.

The airline says that beginning on October 30, it will operate a new route between Toronto Pearson International Airport and Orlando International Airport four times a week.

“We’re delighted to announce the expansion of our winter flight schedule, providing travelers with a wider range of options to escape the cold and experience unforgettable destinations and holiday options,” said Eddy Doyle, Canada Jetlines CEO.

In addition to Orlando, the airline also plans to offer routes between Toronto and Montego Bay, Jamaica, in addition to its preexisting routes from Toronto to Las Vegas and Cancun, Mexico.

Founded in 2013, Canada Jetlines bills itself as an “ultra low cost-airline,” with its headquarters stationed in Mississauga, Ontairio.

Earlier this month, Avelo Airlines began a new service to central Wisconsin.
