Semi-truck overturns, spills plywood haul onto SR 528

Traffic is still slow this afternoon after a semi-truck that was hauling sheets of plywood overturned and spilled its haul over State Road 528.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident took place on Wednesday afternoon and, as of 3 p.m., eastbound SR 528 near SR 417 is slow, but the on-ramp is open again. Only one lane is unblocked as crews continue to clear plywood from the road.

Drivers need to use caution in the area and find an alternate route.
