Orlando airport gaining five new destinations as airline expands routes

An ultra-low-fare airline announced routes to five new destinations not previously served by the Orlando International Airport.

Breeze Airways announced the addition of 14 nonstop routes throughout the country on Wednesday, November 8.

The announcement included the following five new destinations for Orlando: Burlington, Vermont; Evansville, Indiana; Madison, Wisconsin; Stewart, New York; and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Pennsylvania.

All of the services will begin next year, with service to Wlkes-Barre/Scranton beginning on January 30, 2024.

The airline says it is currently offering 35% off base fares for roundtrip bookings for customers who use the following code: BENICE

All of the flights between Orlando and the five destinations will be operated using Airbus A220-300 aircraft.

“In 2024, we will be adding even more dots to our expanding network while connecting the dots between existing cities across the US so more and more people can experience our unique hospitality and affordable yet premium product offering,” said Breeze Airways President Tom Doxey.

Earlier this year, Breeze Airways began offering nonstop service between Orlando and the Louis Armstrong International Airport in New Orleans.

Founded in 2018 by David Neeleman, who cofounded Jetblue and several other airlines, Breeze Airways launched operations in May 2021. The company is currently headquartered in Cottonwood Heights, Utah.

The airline has been aggressively expanding its services since its inception and currently serves dozens of secondary airports across at least 27 states.
