David Morin

David L. Morin, 69, of Saint Cloud, passed away on June 9, 2022 while at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 15, 1952 to Lionel and Lucille (Chasse) Morin in New Britain, CT. He was a patriot and loved his country. He was true to his faith, family and friends. David graduated from Saint Thomas Aquinas High School in his hometown, class of 1970. He continued his studies in Environmental Science at Northwestern Community College in Winsted, CT, class of 1973. He moved to Florida in 1974 and worked for Broward Country for 34 years and retired as an arborist. David was a reserve officer with the Florida Wildlife Commission from 1984-2011 and a range officer at Triple N Shooting range for the past three years. He married the love of his life Heather (Terwillegar) Morin in October of 1984. Some of his greatest times were spent hunting with his boys, camping with family, growing rare plants and caring for many animals including reptiles and rodents over the years, He was always available to help anyone in need of home or auto repairs. He is survived by his loving family; wife, Heather Morin of St. Cloud, FL; sons, Patrick D. Morin and his wife, Tracie, of Richmond, VA, Philip D. Morin and his wife, Irene, and granddaughter, Ellie, of Lindsay, Ontario, Canada; Daughter, Elizabeth C. Morin of West Melbourne, FL. The family will receive friends for a memorial gathering on Friday June 17, 2022 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Heartcry Chapel. 5225 E. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, St. Cloud, FL 34771.
