Construction underway on first Scooter’s Coffee drive-thru location in Central Florida

Vertical construction is underway on a new Scooter’s Coffee drive-thru location coming to Central Florida.

Located at 3009 West Oak Ridge Road in Orlando, the drive-thru coffee kiosk is the first Scooter’s Coffee location in Orlando and only the seventh across the Sunshine State.

Unlike some of their Starbucks and Foxtail counterparts, most Scooter’s Coffee locations do not offer the traditional sit-down cafe experience. Rather, their kiosks focus solely on drive-thru services. The Orlando location will encompass 664 square feet and is next door to a newly constructed Autozone on S John Young Parkway.

Scooter’s Coffee was founded in 1998 by Don and Linda Eckles in Nebraska. The chain is nearing 500 establishments across the nation. In Florida, Scooter’s currently operates six establishments in Fort Myers, Gainesville, and Rockledge.

The menu at Scooter’s features a variety of hot and iced coffees, breakfast sandwiches and burritos, and a bevy of smoothies, teas, and their signature blenders. The business frequently features specialty drinks that are only available for a limited time.

Most of their locations open around 6 a.m. and close around 7 p.m., but the hours for the Orlando location have not yet been released.
