Ron Cook

Ronald C. Cook, 87, of Orlando, Florida graduated to heaven on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. Ronald was born August 4, 1934, in Akron, Ohio to Clifford and Ethel Cook. He was an only child.

Ronald married his college sweetheart and love of his life of 58 years, Shirley Cook. He graduated from Life Bible College in Los Angeles, California in 1957 and served the Kingdom of God faithfully for over 65 years. Ron served in various capacities in many areas of ministry including praise and worship playing the trumpet, piano and singing, prison ministry, hospital visitation, and Sunday School. He served on the pastoral staff of Faith Assembly of God for 20 years and then served at Christ Church of Orlando for several years. When he “retired” he served with his son at The Praise Place Church. He was an active member at Revelation church.

Ronald was married for 58 years to Shirley Cook. Together they have 5 children, Brenda and Stanley Hawks, Barbara and Johnny Davidson, Bonnie Cook Hill and Rick Hill, Thomas and Lisa Cook and Beth Ivey, 13 Grandchildren and 8 Great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022, at Christ Church of Orlando, 2200 S Orange Ave, Orlando. Viewing is from 6PM-7PM. Service will begin at 7PM.
