Mildred L. Coyle

Mildred Louise (Bulger) Coyle, “Giggie”, of Casselberry, Florida was 93 years old when she passed away peacefully at 7:30am on Sunday, June 12, 2022. She was born in Carollton, Georgia on October 22, 1928 to the late William Clark Bulger and Lillie Mae Bulger. She is the last survivor of the 7 Bulger children. Mildred led a full life, having been brought up in a loving home; and, then helping to create a loving home. She met a young sailor and then traveled across the country to get married. She then survived a dangerous cancer, but that did not slow down this woman. The Navy life fed one of her dreams as a child…she was able to travel the world. Mildred was a loving, devoted wife and mother. But she was born to be a grandmother. The oldest grandchild was unable to pronounce “granny” so it became “Giggie”. She was firm, supportive, and cuddling, but tolerated no nonsense. She had a way of making each grandchild feel special and each grandchild has special memories just for them. That will be her legacy….being Giggie. Mildred retired from the Seminole County School System after 25 years as a Library Aide. In addition, she was a skilled seamstress, an accomplished cook and baker, meticulous with needlepoint and counted cross stitch, and adept at refinishing and reupholstering furniture — basically, anything crafty she would attempt and usually accomplish. She was a voracious reader, keeping a constant flow on order from the Seminole County Public Library in Casselberry. She loved mystery, intrigue and historical books. … Bill O’Reilly was one of her favorite authors. Mildred also loved watching sports, her favorites being Little League World Series, College Softball World Series and her favorite…….college football! Her two favorite teams were FSU and Clemson and she could talk football! Mildred also loved her devoted dogs, a chihuahua Tinker, a pitbull Gracie, and a dog Chester. She was cared for at home in her final years by family members.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Garrett T. Coyle; devoted son-in-law, Bradford F. Hadnot; and loving sisters and brothers, Florence Coleman, Ruby Jesswein, Jeanette McCain, Virlyn Bulger, Vernon Bulger, and Donald Bulger.

Mildred is survived by a son, Michael Coyle of Orlando, FL; and 2 daughters, Cathy Sanders of Brandon, FL and Donna Hadnot of Casselberry, FL; daughter-in law, Jacquie Coyle of Orlando FL; 6 grandchildren, Stephen Coyle (Melanie) of Jeffersontown , KY, Scott Coyle and Angela Hyatt of Orlando, FL, Joshua Siniscalco (Romaine) of Williamsburg, FL, Julie Siniscalco and Jeremy Siniscalco of Casselberry, FL; and 11 great grandchildren. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
