Mo Bamba sells downtown Orlando penthouse for $2.625 million

A former Orlando Magic basketball player who was traded last year has sold his penthouse in downtown Orlando.

Mo Bamba’s penthouse atop Sanctuary (100 S Eola Drive), has sold for $2,625,000, according to property records. Bamba, who was drafted by the Orlando Magic with the number six pick in 2018, had previously listed the 4,800 square-foot condominium for $2,879,000 last year.

The condo features 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and was built in 2005. It boasts a Home Owners Association fee of over $2,600, according to a previous listing on HighRises.com.

The upscale penthouse was outfitted by Ted Maines Interiors and features a custom-designed foyer, a 110-projector screen, SubZero appliances, a fully-automated Crestron audio/visual and lighting setup, and the largest wrap-around balcony and terrace in the building.

Sanctuary offers full service concierge services, and the unit is equipped with two parking spaces in the garage.

According to property records, the condo sold for $1,695,000 in 2018. Less than three years later, in 2021, it was listed in April for $2,795,000. A few months later, in August 2021, the listing was removed. It went on the market again on February 15, 2023.

For the past several years, the property tax on the penthouse has been near $27,000 a year, according to property records.

After playing for the Lakers through the rest of the season, Bamba was cut by the team in the Summer of 2023. Last July, he signed a contract with the Philadelphia 76ers.
