Orlando woman killed, two others seriously injured after ATVs hit by SUV on SR 417

A 23-year-old Orlando woman was killed and two men were seriously injured after all three were ejected off all-terrain vehicles while riding on State Road 417.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers responded to State Road 417 around mile marker 31 just after 1 a.m. on Saturday, June 18 in reference to an accident between two ATVs and an SUV.

According to authorities, a 2006 Yamaha ATV being driven by a 21-year-old Orlando man, and a 2021 Yamaha ATV being driven by a 34-year-old Orlando man were traveling northbound in the outside lane of SR 417.

A Nissan Rogue being driven by a 35-year-old Orlando man who was traveling northbound on the outside lane did not see the ATVs and, as a result, struck both of them.

The driver of the Nissan Rogue was uninjured in the crash and remained on the scene.
