A suspect has been arrested and charged with the murder of a 44-year-old man at a Family Dollar on Orange Blossom Trail earlier this month.
Last week, Orange County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 33-year-old Patrick Thomas Alcereau in the shooting death of 44-year-old Ricky Lemar Jones.
Jones was gunned down on the morning of June 10 at the Family Dollar located at 7113 South Orange Blossom Trail, according to police. During the incident, two victims were discovered suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were transported to the hospital, where Jones was pronounced deceased.
Alcereau faces charges of first degree murder with a firearm and attempted first degree murder with a firearm for shooting the second victim.
