Edwin Benitez

Edwin Benitez, 54 years old, passed away peacefully on 19 March, 2024 in his home in Orlando, FL, after battling with Multiple Sclerosis for over 20 years.

He was born to Esther Silva on May 21, 1969 and was the second of four boys. Edwin was a God-fearing man who loved his family dearly and had a special bond with his brothers. His sense of humor and smile could brighten up your day.

He met the love of his life, Lydia, and together became a proud father to Edwin Benitez, Jr. He graduated from Lakewood High School in New Jersey, and years later moved to Florida. He was a hard worker who enjoyed his profession as an A.C. technician, was a passionate Jets fan, and had a love for cooking.

He is survived by his mother, Esther Silva, son, Edwin Benitez, Jr., brother, Enrique Otero, and two grandchildren, Evalysse Aaralyn Benitez and Edwin Benitez III.
