Kia Center to host ‘Hire Day Orlando’ this week

Central Florida’s largest job fair, Hire Day Orlando, is happening this week at the Kia Center.

The job fair will take place on Wednesday, April 10, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Kia Center located at 400 W Church Street in Orlando.

Hire Day Orlando is Central Florida’s premier job fair and career resource, connecting local candidates with top employers. More than 120 companies will be on site with 6,000-plus positions to fill.

Those companies will include the City of Orlando, Marriott Vacation Club, Orange County Fire Rescue, Florida Department of Health in Orange County, Rosen Hotels and Resorts, University of Central Florida, SeaWorld, Florida Blue, Orange County Public Schools, Orlando Police Department, U.S. Army, Universal Orlando, Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Resort, and many others.

During the four-hour hiring event, job seekers will have access to free professional headshots, career advice, and resume reviews.

Attendees should bring copies of their resume, along with a pen and notepad to take notes. In addition, be sure to dress to impress for on-the-spot interviews.

There is no cost to attend the job fair, and free parking will be available on the day of the event at the GEICO Garage located behind the Kia Center.
