David Konstan

David Konstan passed away on June 27, 2022 at the age of 89. Dave was born in Brooklyn, NY on Valentine’s Day 1933. When he was 22 years old he moved to Washington, DC and met the love of his life Isabelle, “Izzie”. He spent 65 years, 10 months and 1 day with her.

Dave worked at several companies during his life but the last 40 were spent as the president of Hitchins America/Uniroof International Inc. In this capacity he was able to travel the world. In addition to his work David was an avid volunteer. His many volunteer activities included; Give Kids the World, Advent Health, Orlando Aviation Noise Abatement Council, mediation at Seminole County Courthouse and serving on the planning board for the City of Altamonte. To those who knew him as family, friend, colleague or fellow volunteer he was always engaging and outgoing.

Dave was predeceased by his son, Steven, and both his parents. He leaves behind his loving wife,Izzie, his daughter and son-in-law, Sue & John Drauss, and his grandchildren Geoffrey (Maria) and Emily.
