Black History Month hosting Maternal Health and Wellness event

Florida Department of Health officials in Orange County will host a free Black History Month event that celebrates maternal health and wellness later this month.

The Maternal and Child Health program will take place on Saturday, February 26, at the Holden Heights Community Center (1201 20th Street, Orlando) from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The event is open to the public and will include food, music, games, and community resources.

The event will feature guest speaker Jennie Joseph, founder and president of Commonsense Childbirth.
