52-year-old Kissimmee man killed after striking tree, utility pole in fatal accident

A 52-year-old Kissimmee man was killed after the vehicle he was driving struck a tree, overturned, and struck an electric utility pole.

The fatal accident took place on Sunday, July 3, near the intersection of Pleasant Hill Road and Rosemarie Drive in Osceola County. According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was driving a 1993 Toyota Corolla northbound on Pleasant Hill Road in the outside lane.

For unknown reasons, the driver lost control, struck a curb, and ran off the roadway. After running off the roadway, the vehicle struck a tree and overturned before colliding with an electric utility pole.

The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
