David Lee Holder

David Lee Holder, age 88, passed away on July 1, 2022.

A retired radiologist, David was born and raised in North Carolina. After graduating from UNC Chapel Hill, David served his country as an officer in the US Air Force. He began practicing medicine in Central Florida in 1968.

He loved the outdoors and was very involved in the Missions Program at First Baptist Church of Winter Park, where he also served many years as a Deacon and Sunday school teacher.

David is survived by his wife, Sharon, daughter Donna McNamara (Matthew), son Dan Holder (Cathy), son Doug Holder, son Derek Jones, daughter Dana Dye (Jim) and 8 grandchildren. He is also survived by his two sisters, Dare Reich (W.S.) and Dinah Taylor, as well as his 4 nephews. David is preceded in death by son, Stan Jones (1991).

Services to be held at First Baptist Church of Winter Park on July 16, 2022. Visitation begins at 10:30, with memorial service beginning at 11:00.
