Mary Ann Snook

Mary Ann Klinger Snook passed on Sunday, July 3 at the age of 87. Mary Ann was born September 28, 1934, to Heyward and Gladys (Kuhn) Klinger in Burnham, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Klinger; sister-in-law, Dolly; sister, Arlene Klinger Clare; brother-in-law, Joe; nephew, James and grand nephew, Ethan.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Philip Edward Snook, Sr. of Longwood, FL; son, Philip Edward Snook, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Theresa Ann (Leiva) Snook who live in Okinawa, Japan; daughter, Tammy Lorraine Snook Quezada, son-in-law, Joseph Alexander Quezada; along with her grandchildren, Cole Alexander Quezada and Cameron Philip Quezada, who live in Longwood, FL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews along with extended family, all of whom she held dear.

Raised in Lewistown, PA, Mary Ann married Philip in 1954, moved to Orlando in 1960, where they raised their family. Mary Ann had various jobs throughout the years while raising her two children, including restaurant hostess, bank teller, sales associate, political activist, and business owner. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, singing in the Church choir, square dancing, watching sports (huge Penn State fan), music (especially big band singers) and her greatest joy was spending time with her grandsons. Mary Ann had a larger-than-life personality with a huge laugh and an even bigger heart. She was kind and generous, yet tough, competitive and always spoke her mind.

A chapel service will be held at Altamonte Chapel, 825 SR 436, Altamonte Springs, Fla. at 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 10.
