Ecology in Action Day for children at Lake Lorna Doone Park

The city of Orlando will host an Ecology in Action Day at a local park for young children this week.

The event will take place on Tuesday, July 12, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Lake Lorna Doone Park, which is located at 1519 West Church Street in Orlando.

Ecology in Action Day is an educational event that provides children with hands-on crafts and games inspired by nature. Although it is geared towards kids between the ages of three and five, the event is open to all other ages as well.

Those who attend are encouraged to bring walking shoes, a reusable water bottle, and a hat. Children must be looked after by an adult at all times.
