Tacos My Guey opens new taqueria in downtown Orlando

Tacos My Guey has opened a new taqueria in downtown Orlando that serves up tacos, burritos, and other Mexican favorites into the wee hours of the night.

Located at 131 N Orange Ave Suite 103, the restaurant celebrated its grand opening just a few weeks ago, replacing a previous wine and food shop that lasted less than a year in the space.

Tacos My Guey hopes to fare better and in doing so will offer a slate of classic Mexican dishes that are prepared quickly and available onsite or through delivery.

In addition to tacos and burritos, the restaurant prepares tostadas, quesadillas, and sopes with a variety of proteins, including carne asada, carnitas, and shrimp, among multiple others.

Churros, horchata, rice, beans, and handmade guacamole round out an extensive offering of sides and drinks.

Outside of its menu, perhaps the restaurant’s largest appeal is its availability.

Many of Orlando’s taco restaurants are open late, but Tacos My Guey joins Gringos Locos as one of the only restaurants that stays open until midnight or later seven days a week. Tacos My Guey is open from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and until midnight on all other days.
