Raynelda Doris Sunshine

Raynelda Doris Sunshine passed peacefully at The Mayflower Winter Park Florida on March 7th. Raynelda, known as Doris, was born in Liberty County, West Virginia, to Homer L Asbury and Roberta Susanne Asbury on March 11, 1922. She had 5 siblings that all predeceased her. She grew up on a farm in the countryside and in 1953, she met the love of her life, Herbert Sunshine, wo whom she was married for 55 years and raised seven children, Ann Thornburg (deceased), Ramona Sunshine, Dada Sunshine, Susanne Walker, and Diane Sunshine. She has 10 Grand Children, 19 Great Grand Children, and 2 Great Great Grand Children. She was an avid golfer and traveled the world. She was an avid golfer and traveled the world. She was a very strong-willed woman who could do almost anything she put her mind to. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in her honor to: the Louis Holt Foundation of Central Florida, 3020 Corrine Drive, Orlando FL 32803. This charity helps with financial support for education.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral service for her at Congregation of Reform Judaism, 928 Malone Drive, Orlando 32810 at 11 am. Burial will follow immediately at CRJ Cemetery at Woodlawn. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 PM at their home 817 Golfview Terrace, Winter Park.
