Woman steals $1,000 of Hennessy bottles while Walmart Liquor employee looking away

Sanford police are asking the public to help identify a woman who stole 17 bottles of Hennessy at a Walmart Liquor store while an employee was looking away.

On Monday, August 15, the female featured in this story was seen entering the Walmart Liquor located at 1601 Rinehart Road in Sanford.

According to the Sanford Police Department, the woman waited until an employee looked away before she entered a stock room and removed two boxes containing 17 bottles of Hennessy valued at $999.76.

The woman left through the emergency exit and got into a black Honda Accord that had no tag attached to it.
